Challenge

Despite previous efforts at improving malaria prevention behaviors, Malaria remains one of the biggest public health challenges and a leading cause of death especially for young children in South Sudan. With a new net distribution initiative, we needed to create an SBC campaign that could finally make a lasting impact on malaria incidents.

Outcome

4 TVCs, 3 radios, multiple static and dynamic assets for IEC material, digital distribution and community engagement in the main South Sudanese languages.

Approach

Khanga Rue led a co-creation workshop in Juba with key stakeholders. We followed this up with further testing and iteration across 4 regions. Working with local creatives and media experts, we designed a radio/TV/ooh campaign that recently launched in Q2 2026.
